Marvellous Monsters

Using a wire base, newspaper and plaster students create their own wild mixed up monster maquettes. Students love the way their creatures develop from observational drawings to design ideas to the final model. Often making alterations as they learn more about the materials they are working with. This project is tied to a trip to the Warner Brothers Studios where students participate in workshops and explore the props and costumes first hand.
